For many years, personality development has puzzled man. Why do people do what they do? Where does personality come from and how does it grow? There are some well-known theories that explain where personality comes from, and why we act the way we do. There are two very famous theories which were developed by great psychologists such as Sigmund Freud and Erich Fromm.

Fromm’s theory of character starts with a definition of personality, which is “the totality of inherited and acquired psychic qualities which are characteristic of one individual and which make the individual unique.” In the main, inherited or constitutional qualities are synonymous with temperament, and acquired qualities are synonymous with character. Following Hippocrates, Fromm distinguishes four temperaments: choleric, sanguine, melancholic, and phlegmatic.

In psychology there exist two different types of learning, often referred to as classical and operant conditionings. Both of them we can notice in our day-to-day life. Furthermore, the theory of these conditionings is able to explain why people or animals react in a certain way while being in a certain situation.

Critical thinking helps students distinguish between good and bad reasoning. It does not require that you are totally objective in your thinking but it is a way to approach problems and make decisions. In the article, the authors’ perception of using the Internet as a research tool is that students and researchers alike are overwhelmed with information from the Internet and that they are confusing this information with knowledge. He perceives information and knowledge as being two different entities. He believes that since information and knowledge are constantly confused with each other, this is a cause of problems related to conducting research on the Internet.

There are many leadership models that different leaders choose to utilize, which makes the style of every leader unique but emotional intelligence is of vital importance for all them.

My definition of critical thinking is that it is the process of persistently and intelligently visualizing, applying, and evaluating information that was gathered from observation, experience, or interaction. . It set of skills to process and generate information and beliefs by using those skills you know and learned to guide behavior in everyday life. The definition I came up with ties in with all three articles previously analyzed. I believe that all three definitions are correct, and logical. There is no one exact definition of critical thinking. Many connect with one another, justifying and supporting the elements expressed in each definition.

Inclusion is a key factor in the classroom; it helps bring diversity into the lives of many children all over the world. When children with special needs are mixed in with the general education system, everyone benefits. Special needs children have more of a social setting in a regular school, which means they have more helpers and friends. Having more friends can deeply impact a child’s self-esteem, making it somewhat easier to learn. Children without special need also benefit from inclusion. By bringing in these “different” children, the other children in the classroom will learn about diversity. Diversity is crucial to a growing child! Children need to learn all about this topic in their early childhood years, so that they are able to handle certain situations when they are presented to them. It is very important to teach children that everyone is different and special in their own way.

Exercise may offer substantial potential alone or as an adjunct in improving the mental well being of many individuals. There are five important benefits that are associated with the potential use of exercise in such a role. First, exercise is cheap. Second, exercise carries negligible deleterious side effects. Third, exercise can be self-sustaining in that the individual can maintain it once the basic skills have been learnt.

The relationship between policy, legislation and implementation in many cases is left misunderstood. Elaboration of effective legislation plays a crucial role in this process. Before the elaboration of legislation this new policy must be developed to guide the nature and content of the legislation. Legislation is the basis for policy later implementation: in case there uncovered issues in legislation there is no chance for effective policy to be introduced in the medical care sector.

Freud’s model of personality allows us to understand the mechanisms of development of anxiety and defense mechanisms which help people to cope with the anxiety. For instance, reaction formation is one of the neurotic defense mechanisms. It reduces anxiety through formation of feelings or behaviors opposite to dangerous. An example can be the falsely positive attitude to someone a person strongly dislikes. Projection is mostly adolescent reaction, but can be present in adults, too. It consists in attributing our own unacceptable feelings or behaviors to someone else. For example, if a person does not like another individual the former may think that the latter dislikes the former.
