If we consider prevention of juvenile delinquency it is supposed to be held during the entire childhood and school years while various agencies come and go. Here target population is the children aging from about 7 to 17 years old, and the result is to consist in them experiencing their teenage years without being brought to trial.

This can also be the criterion to measure the results. As for prevention within the families, the time frame equals child’s age in every separate family – generally for the children being 2-7 years old when they may start performing aggressive behavior or disobedience. The target population is parents here, and the key results will consist in children behaving adequately. And as far as rehabilitation process is concerned, bullies at school can be determined and receive counseling – this may take different periods of time – from some months to some years. Besides, having got into the Juvenile Justice System “a youth may receive drug rehabilitation assistance, counseling, and educational opportunities.” As a result such young people will be able to live in the society without committing more crimes. The process again may take some years.
